Printing, of course, is of major interest in back offices and is supported by Konica Minolta’s latest Emperon controller technology, which offers basically the same functions as the larger A3 models. Emperon technology ensures seamless integration into most networks and compatibility with standard operating systems and most business applications. Smooth printing performance is guaranteed by an 800 MHz page processor, 256 MB standard (upgradeable to 768MB) as well as the option to install a 40 GB hard drive. Naturally, the Emperon system also offers Standard PostScript and PCL as well as optional XPS support.
Another important topic in back offices concerns SAP printing. Not only has the bizhub C25 been SAP-certified, Konica Minolta is also a Gold Partner in the SAP Printer Vendor Programme. Administrators benefit from straightforward installation, assured reliability and SAP customer support. Additionally, Konica Minolta offers external solutions for barcode printing with BENS G3 and for companies printing from IBM’s AS/400, iSeries or zSeries environments with IAPS (Intermate Advanced Printer Server).
