Konica Minolta has officially opened its new Melbourne Customer Engagement Centre (CEC) and office at 616 St Kilda Road, providing an updated space for engaging with customers, dealers and resellers across Victoria.
The opening event brought together Konica Minolta staff and channel partners, reinforcing the company’s focus on collaboration and its partner ecosystem. Dealers and resellers were well represented, reflecting the important role the channel will play in bringing the new space to life.
Proceedings commenced with a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony led by Aboriginal elder Colin Hunter Jnr, accompanied by the didgeridoo. The ceremony acknowledged the Traditional Custodians of the land and set a considered tone for the event, grounding the opening in respect and community connection.
At the centre of the new facility is a purpose-built environment designed to provide hands-on access to Konica Minolta’s latest production and office print technologies. The Customer Engagement Centre features a range of production presses, including the AccurioPress C14010S, AccurioPress C7100E, AccurioPress C4080 and AccurioPress C4070, alongside a HP Latex 630W for wide format applications.
An adjacent office print space showcases the full range of bizhub office printers, providing a view of Konica Minolta’s offering across both production and workplace environments.
The intent is to give customers and partners easy access to live demonstrations, supporting more informed conversations around applications, quality and productivity.
“The Melbourne Customer Engagement Centre gives our customers and partners direct access to the latest production and office print technologies in a working environment,” said Andrew Cocker, General Manager. “It removes barriers to evaluation and enables more informed conversations around applications, quality and productivity.”
For dealers and resellers, the space provides an additional platform to engage customers, support demonstrations and accelerate sales cycles. By centralising key technologies in a dedicated environment, the CEC is positioned as a practical tool for co-selling and capability building across the channel.
With the customer at the centre of everything Konica Minolta does, the new space has been designed to enable more meaningful engagement, allowing visitors to explore real-world applications, collaborate with experts and experience technology in action.
Beyond the technology, the Melbourne site is also the first Konica Minolta office globally to be designed in line with the company’s “Feel the Potential” campaign. The space incorporates bold colours and graphic elements across walls and shared areas, creating a more dynamic and engaging environment that reflects the brand’s focus on creativity and innovation.
Guests at the opening were invited to explore the new facility. A series of customer and partner events are planned over the coming months to showcase the technology and further activate the space.
With its new Melbourne Customer Engagement Centre now open, Konica Minolta has a refreshed environment to connect with customers and partners, supporting ongoing engagement and new opportunities in production and office print.
